VOAL - Online Zëri i Shqiptarëve - SHQIPTARËT E MASAÇUSETSIT FESTUAN ME MADHËSHTI 99 VJETORIN E PAVARËSISË KOMBËTARENga ARDIAN MURRAJ, Boston, SHBA

Prej disa vitesh shteti i Masaçusetsit në SHBA mundëson zyrtarisht tubimet e bashkatdhetarëve shqiptarë për festimet e Ditës së Flamurit. Viti i 99-të gjeti përsëri shprehjen e ngritjes në ndërtesat e bashkive të Bostonit dhe Usterit të Flanurit Shqiptar si një shenjë nderimi dhe respekti për Kombin tonë, emigrantët shqiptarë në këto qendra me grumbullime të mëdha.

Vigjilja e festës së Pavarësisë si përherë bashkoi shqiptarët e vjetër e të rinj si dhe shumë bashkëkombas nga Kosova. Veç festimeve familjare dhe të rretheve shoqerore, kjo festë u kujtua nga disa shoqata me karakter etnik dhe kulturor.

Ishte në Uster Shoqata e gruas ajo që nisi veprimtaritë në Kishën Orthodokse Shqiptare "Fjetja e Shën Marisë" si dhe më tej të Dielën e 27 Nëntorit dy shoqata të tjera si AANO ( Organizata Kombëtare Shqiptaro-Amerikane), dhe MassBesa të cilat përcollën ceremonitë e ngritjes së flamurit në Boston dhe shtrimin e një dreke përkujtimore me këtë rast.

Kështu shqiptarët emigrantë nga njëri shesh qendror i kryeqytetit u shpërngulën në restorantin e njohur "Pier 4", ku atmosfera e pritjes ishte konceptuar si një tregim artistik ku qendronin bashkë një ekspozitë pikture nga artisti Sterjo Shkodrani, si dhe ora muzikore me çelistin Edevaldo Mulla dhe violinistin lituanez Egle Jarkova.

Himnet kombëtare të SHBA-së dhe atij të Shqipërisë ishin një çast kulmor i festes e cila vazhdoi me fjalën e mirëseardhjes drejtuar nga kryetarja e degës Bostonit për AANO zj. Shpresa Theodhosi, si dhe me protokollin e përgatitur ku u lexua nga z. Frankli Zdruli dhe letra përshëndetse e ambasadorit të Republikës së Shqipërisë z. Gilbert Galanxhi ( në mungesë pasi ai ndodhej në veprimtari të ngjashme ).

Mes rreth 200 pjesëmarrësve ishin të ftuar dhe klerikë orthodoks të Katedrales së Shën Gjergjit në Boston- At Artur Liolin, të Kishës së Shën Trinisë- At Kostandin Tuda nga Shipëria dhe At Mark Doku për Kishën Orthodokse Shqiptare "Fjetja e Shën Marisë" së Usterit.

Pas bekimit të drekës një vend i vçantë iu kushtua dorëzimit të çmimit "Anthony Thanas" për arritjet z. Ron Naso e cila u përcoll nga një rrëfim biografik i bërë nga z. William N. Johns ( Vasil Kamenica).

Për disa orë festa e pavaresisë mes shqipëtarëve emigrantë u shoqërua nga tingujt dhe ritmet e kengëve dhe valleve. Një shumënjyrësh kostumesh popullore dhe hare në mjediset e festës shpesh herë freskohej nga kërcimtarët e grupit të të rinjve të " Shën Marisë" drejtuar me mjaft pasion prej z Dhimitraq Demiri.

AANO BOSTON

Edevaldo Mulla, Cello

Albanian cellist Edevaldo Mulla was born in 1982, Korca, Albania. He started cello lessons when he was 6 year old. In 2004, he received a diploma from the Academy of Arts in Tirana and in Prof. Astrit Selita's class has received the Gold Medal. During this period, he has had rich activities of performing as a member of several orchestras. Edevaldo debuted as a soloist with orchestra in Albania when he only 9 year old. In 1999, he successfully made his first recital concert in his birth town of Korca. In 2003 Edevaldo Mulla was the winner of the international competition "Earth's Songs", Albania. Following year in the same competition, he won the "Special Prize".

The most beautiful experience for him was when he was a soloist in collaboration with Tirana Academy Orchestra, performing the Variations on A-string by Paganini. His soloist life continued intensively even after graduating from the Academy. Mr. Mulla has taught cello in the Conservatory of Tirana "˜Jordan Misja'. He has performed for and with famous artists such as Alain Menuir, Ammy Flamer and Christian Ivakli. Edevaldo Mulla has also participated in festivals of Contemporary Music in Albania, performing as a member of orchestra, also as a soloist.

In 2007, Edevaldo moved to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and continued his artistic life as a principal cello of Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, where he has performed Elger Cello Concerto with the Orchestra. In 2011, Mr. Mulla received scholarship from Boston Conservatory to study for a Master Degree of Music.

Lithuanian violinist Egle Jarkova is the First Prize winner of "American Protégé"

International Piano and Stings Competition, New York; Boston Conservatory Honors Chamber Music Competition, Boston; International Violin Competition" Paolo Spincich",

Trieste; International Chamber Music Compotation, Arezzo; Competition "La Musica Nella Scuolla", Italy; Laureate at "B. Dvarionas Pianist and Violinists Competition", Lithuania, (Special Prize for the best performance).

First Prize at the International Orchestra Competition in Belgium and Hungary.

Egle is recipient of Queen Morta Premium Laureate. She studied with S. Zemitaite at the Second Music in Vilnius. In 2007 Egle received a full music scholarship to study at the United World College of the Adriatic (Italy), attending also" Scuola Superiore Internazionale di Musica De Camera del Trio di Trieste". She studied with Mr. Massimo Belli and members of Trio di Trieste (Dario de Rosa, Renato Zanettovich and Maureen Jones) and Trio di Parma (Ivan Rabaglia, Alberto Miodini and Enrico Bronzi).

Egle has performed in Austria, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, and Switzerland. She participated in "Kodaly-Bartok World Youth Orchestra"; International Frenkel Villa Summer Festival"; "International Summer Academy Mozarteum 2011; Performed at venues such as Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York; Sala Beethoven and Sala Tripkovich, Trieste; Wiener Saal, Salzburg;

Egle received master classes and coaching from V. Oistrakh, M. Levinson, R. Noren, M. Lewing, P. Berman, P. Munteanu, T. Berkul, D. Schmalenberg, A. Gricius, A. Shvolkovsky, A. Shalman, and S. Von Bekker.

In 2009, Egle received a full scholarship from the Boston Conservatory supported by Davis Association to Study for Bachelor in Violin Performance with Mr. Lynn Chang.
